Maintenance to take phones off the hook next weekend

Upgrades to telephone systems will take telephones in some campus buildings offline intermittently from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18.

The scope of work involves replacing current phone-related network and firewall equipment with newer, faster, and more reliable infrastructure, reports Information Technology Services. 

Affected buildings will include:

  • Vanier Hall;
  • Centre for English Language Development;
  • Centre for Engineering Innovation;
  • Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre;
  • Welcome Centre;
  • LeBel Building;
  • University Computer Centre; and
  • the downtown campus: Pitt-Ferry, former Armouries, and Freedom Way buildings.
