The CAW Student Centre Marketplace will have diners crooning Danny Boy today as it marks St. Patrick’s Day by serving up special Irish fare.

The lunch menu will feature shepherd’s pie and a Reuben sandwich of corned beef, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and sauerkraut on marble rye. Green cupcakes for $1.50 each will complete the meal.

Dinner boasts shepherd’s pie with gravy, a Swiss chard gratin, homemade cheddar and onion soda bread, and Guinness-braised corned beef with kale cream cheese served with roasted root vegetables (editor’s note: Wow!).

Nacho bar returns to Marche Pasta

For those less keen on the corned beef, the Noodles pasta has a special all week—a nacho bar that allows patrons to top crispy tri-colour corn chips their own way. The bar offers a choice of toppings: cheddar cheese, jalapenos, ground beef, red and green peppers, olives, green onions, salsa and sour cream for just $7.99.
