The Lancer football team secured a 3-0 record to open the season—its best start since 2006—with a 63-4 trouncing of the Warriors in Waterloo on Saturday.
Quarterback Austin Kennedy passed for 141 yards including a touchdown each to Dallas Boow, Mark Carter and Scott McEwen as part of a total 654 yards in offense. Kennedy is just eight touchdown passes away from the Ontario University Athletics career record. Windsor’s rushing leaders included Nigel Applewhaite with 166 yards and two touchdowns, Nick Vincent with 85 yards and two touchdowns, and Beau Lumley with 114 yards.
