A treatment group for adults with symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder will begin meeting Monday, October 23.
The University of Windsor officially opened its Psychological Services and Research Centre on Thursday.
The Psychological Services and Research Centre is offering a workshop on common problems experienced in romantic relationships—like jealousy, cheating, or dating violence—today, Monday, November 5, at 3 p.m. in the Centennial Room, Vanier Hall.
“When Romantic Relationships Go Wrong” will also explore healthy relationship behaviours that increase relationship satisfaction. The interactive workshop allows students to participate as much or as little as they wish.
You would think that something that is the second leading cause of death among young adults would get our attention, says Annette Dufresne.
“You would think that something that accounts for more loss of life in the world than the total number of deaths from war, acts of terrorism, and homicide combined would be front and centre as an issue that needs to be addressed,” says the clinical supervisor of the Psychological Services & Research Centre. “But many people probably wouldn’t guess that suicide is responsible for such a high loss of life and potential.”
