Windsor delegates to the Ontario Residence Hall Association Conference, held at Brock University March 1 to 3, came home with a lot of hardware.
Eight representatives from residence, brought to the conference by the Windsor Inter-Residence Council, received recognition for the programs they offer students as well as the presentations they made to their fellow conferees.
Residence Education and Advocacy Leadership Week (REAL Week) was acknowledged as Program of the Year, while the I “Clover” Sober campaign was named Community Outreach Program of the Year.
Children can give their Hallowe'en costumes a dress rehearsal on campus Tuesday, October 30, as residence students host Boo at the U. University employees are invited to bring their children to the Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall, at 6 p.m.
Residence Life Staff, members of the Windsor Inter Residence Council, and volunteers representing each residence hall will give little trick-or-treaters their own treat bag. Guests then make the rounds to each station for activities and candy in a spooky but safe environment.
