Claire Sanders was finishing an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta when her fascination with birds began. Now she’s living her dream.
“I took an ornithology class in my final year and I’ve been hooked on birds ever since,” she said. “I start talking about birds and I can’t stop.”
A dinner hosted by the Windsor-Essex County India Canada Association will support student scholarships at the University of Windsor.
The association’s annual dinner features traditional music and dance, as well as the cuisine of India, and is set for Friday, November 4, at the Caboto Club. Tickets are $50 and a portion of the proceeds are earmarked for a scholarship open to undergraduate students in any program.
