Screening to honour the survivors of residential school

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for a Feb. 21 screening of The Nature of Healing: Surviving the Mohawk Institute, which documents the spoken truths of seven survivors of Canada’s first and longest-running residential school.

Presented by the Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre, the University of Windsor, and the Windsor International Film Festival, the event will also include a panel discussion featuring the directors and survivors.

It is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Capitol Theatre, 121 University Ave. West.
