The Bru food outlet in the Toldo Health Education Centre will begin this week serving hot lunches to patrons, offering an entrée selection each weekday.

“We are hoping that our clientele will appreciate the expansion of choices,” says assistant manager Paolo Vasapolli. “The Homestyle service is a natural for that location because it offers fresh, healthy specials changing every day.”

Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Marketplace grill puts twist on burger and fries

The Bernie’s Grill station in the CAW Student Centre’s Marketplace food court has revamped its menu, with five varieties of poutine and six new burgers.

In addition to traditional and sweet potato poutine, it offers:

• poutine topped with barbecue pulled pork;
• vegetable poutine topped with mushroom, tomato, onion and green pepper; and
• deluxe poutine topped with pepperoni, bacon, hotdog, onion and mushroom.

New burgers this semester include a chicken and waffle combination, Buffalo-style chicken burger, pesto burger, jerk burger, turkey burger, and a vegetarian burger featuring a patty made of the Indian cheese paneer.
