Potential for west-end nature refuge topic of public lecture

Its potential development in the vicinity of a new international bridge crossing and the possible establishment of a Canadian component of the International Wildlife Refuge is the topic of a free public lecture on Wednesday, December 18.

Phil Roberts, a well-known conservationist—a founding member and president of the Essex County Field Naturalists, will speak on “The Ojibway Shores Expansion Project” as part of the Science Café series. Sponsored by the Faculty of Science, the series offers discussion of important science research for the general public.

Wednesday’s lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Canada South Science City, 930 Marion Avenue.
