UWindsor president Alan Wildeman will announce a significant private donation today—Friday, May 20—at a 10:30 a.m. ground-breaking event for a new crossroads and gathering place in the heart of main campus.

The project, which will feature a basketball court, performance stage, meeting and gathering spots, and new landscaping and lighting, will be named in the donor’s honour. The gift will also support a number of academic awards and scholarships.

The campus community is welcome to attend the event, which will be held on Sunset Avenue in a tent adjacent to the construction site between the Odette Building and the Medical Education Building.
