The Lancer football team will take to Alumni Field at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 27, to kick off its 2017 season.

Joining veteran players is a crop of fresh new faces on offense and defense, says recruiting co-ordinator Vince Flamia.

“We feel our staff did an excellent job identifying talented athletes across Ontario,” he said. “We are very excited for the future of our football program.”

The home opener will be carried live on Cogeco cable channel 11, as well as OUA.tv.
