Recital to pair violin and piano vituosos

The School of Creative Arts will present guest artists Joshua Peters and Katherine Dowling in concert Sunday, November 15, in Assumption Hall.

Peters, a violinist, is the 2015 winner of the Eckhardt-Gramatté Music Competition. A native of Winnipeg, he has appeared as a soloist with its symphony orchestra on numerous occasions, as concertmaster of the McGill Symphony Orchestra, and as a member of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.

Pianist Dowling is familiar to audiences through her association with the Banff Centre, where she has held numerous solo and collaborative residencies.

The performance will begin at 4 p.m. in the Heritage Room, on the second floor of Assumption Hall. Audience members are reminded to enter through the Freed-Orman Centre on the north side of the building. It is the only entrance available to the public.
