A concert featuring a University of Windsor music alumnus falls right in the middle of the 2014/15 concert season for the School of Creative Arts.
Three-time UWindsor grad Ross Osmun (BSc, B.Ed, BMus)—chair of the music department at Bishop’s University and professor there in piano, piano literature and theory—will accompany soprano Melinda Enns for a concert at Mackenzie Hall on January 30.
Osmun has performed nationally as recitalist, accompanist and chamber musician; his international engagements include the United States, France, Serbia, Austria and Russia. Enns’ repertoire ranges from traditional German lieder to contemporary Canadian composers.
The two will also conduct a master class for piano and voice majors the following day in the Music Building.
The event is a highlight of the year for the School of Creative Arts, which has released a calendar of concerts, exhibitions, guest artists and workshops scheduled for the academic year. See it now on the school’s website.
