Recital a showcase for music student talents

The School of Music’s Take Four series presents students in recital on Wednesday, February 29, at 4 p.m. in the Music Building’s Recital Hall, room 139.

  • Flutist Jordan Francis will perform “Cantabile et presto” by Georges Enesco.
  • Flutist Alison Moraites will perform the Andante expressivo and Allegro vivo movements of “Deux interludes” by Jacques Ibert.
  • Clarinettist Jillian St. Aubin will perform the Romanza and Allegro con fuoco movements of “Sonata for clarinet and piano” by Francis Poulenc.
  • Soprano Christina Lamoureux will perform “Depuis le jour” from Louise by Gustave Charpentier, and “De donde venis amore?” by Joaquin Rodrigo.
  • Mezzo-soprano Shelby Marchand will berform “Heliopolis” by Franz Schubert, and “Freedom” from The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown by Brian Lowdermilk with soprano Angelina Bucarelli.
  • Flutist Andjela Stevanovic will perform “Sunday morning” by Ian Clarke.
  • Soprano Jennifer Morin will perform “Come ready and see me” by Richard Hundley and “Les oiseaux dans la charmille” from Les contes d'Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach.
  • Soprano Alyssa Epp will perform “De reve” by Claude Debussy and “Nun hast du mir den ersten Schmerz getan” by Robert Schumann.

Pianist Anna Zaidman will accompany each of the performers. This event is free and open to the public.
