John Cappucci is seeking to understand the Ahmadi Muslim religious experience in Canada and abroad.
Stephen Jarislowsky Chair in Religion and Conflict at Assumption University, he is seeking interview subjects for a study entitled “Faith and Freedom: The Ahmadi Muslim Religious Experience.”
He first encountered the movement as a graduate student.
“I was fascinated with their beliefs, particularly their openness to interreligious dialogue — something that aligns well with the chair and Assumption University,” says Dr. Cappucci.
He invites Ahmadi Muslims at least 18 years and living in Canada to participate by completing a 30-35-minute interview. Individuals may bring a support person to the interview and will receive a $20 gift card.
The project has received clearance from the University of Windsor Research Ethics Board.
