Nominations open for royal commemorative medal

The University of Windsor will nominate four individuals for the King Charles III Coronation Medal, a Canadian commemorative medal created to mark then king’s coronation on May 6, 2023.

The national honour will highlight themes that both King Charles III and Canadians hold dear, including service, the environment and sustainability, and diversity.

To be eligible for this honour, a person must have been alive on the coronation date and have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region, or community in Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to the country. The Student Success and Leadership Centre will gather internal nominations and forward four to the selection committee. Submit nominations until Nov. 12 through this form.
