Visiting scholar to discuss racism and international law

Robert Knox, a visiting scholar in the Faculty of Law, will present a seminar entitled “Race, Racism, and International Law” on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from noon to 1:50 p.m. in the Don Rodzik Moot Court.

Dr. Knox is a senior lecturer in law at the School of Law and Social Justice, University of Liverpool, specializing in international law. He is an editor of the journals Historical Materialism: Research in Critical Marxist Theory and the London Review of International Law.

His research explores the relationship between law and the political-economic structures of capitalism and critical Marxist theory.
