The Office of Career Development and Experiential Learning is looking for professionals to host students for the upcoming fall Job Shadow program, which partners industry experts with students seeking a deeper understanding of potential career paths.
Hosts will spend a couple of hours online or in-person with a student, providing insights and guidance while answering questions about their industries and career paths. This helps UWindsor students better understand how to connect their studies to the workplace, allowing them to gain a clearer picture of their goals after graduation.
The Job Shadow program is set for the University’s fall reading week, Oct. 15 to 17. It is flexible, allowing volunteer hosts to choose times that work for them, and the online option opens the door to alumni and partners working outside of the region.
If you or someone you know would like to exercise your leadership skills and mentorship qualities by opening your doors to students for a couple hours of learning and discovery, learn more and register for the Job Shadow experience by Aug. 30.
