During the month of March, Odette School of Business students, staff, and faculty will be fundraising for Hats on for Healthcare.
The fundraising campaign encourages participants to wear unique and creative headwear and raise funds for medical equipment at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Learning specialist Sandra Neposlan says the business school has been participating in Hats on for Healthcare for over 10 years.
“The Hats on for Healthcare campaign makes a big difference for patients and families in our community by way of investment in patient care,” she says.
All are welcome to attend the campaign kickoff in the lobby of the Odette Building from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13. The Odette MBA Society will run a hat photobooth and bake sale; donors will be eligible for a draw with prizes including gift cards and Odette merchandise. Additional activities will be shared on Odette social media throughout the month.
“We invite our colleagues from across campus to come together with us to fundraise for this important cause,” says interim dean Ashish Mahajan.
Last year, the school raised over $2,000 and organizers hope to exceed that amount this year. Contributions for the current campaign will support Windsor Regional Hospital oncology inpatient treatment and diagnosis. You can donate through the Hats on for Healthcare website.
