There won’t necessarily be snow glistening in the lane, but the holiday luncheon for UWindsor faculty and staff promises a winter wonderland for patrons.

The Winclare Room in Vanier Hall will be decorated to bring some seasonal spirit to attendees, promises Mona Sleiman, event and community relations manager in the Office of the President.

“We’re so happy to be back in the Winclare Room, where we’ve made so many happy memories over the years,” Sleiman says.

The event features festive food stations ranging from pasta to gelato as well as the fellowship of friends and colleagues at a stand-up reception, starting at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Tickets are $15 per person, including tax and a cheering beverage. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis from the Catering Services office. Email co-ordinator Rana Chan at ranachan@uwindsor.ca or stop by room 12, Vanier Hall.

Each department is asked to delegate an individual to co-ordinate purchases. Note that only debit or credit may be used for ticket purchases. Celebrants are invited to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the student food bank.
