Campus-community radio station CJAM 99.1 FM invites the public to join in celebrating its 40 years of broadcast at the “40 Years on FM Party” on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Doors open at 7 p.m. at Art Windsor-Essex, 401 Riverside Dr. West. RSVP here. Entry is a suggested donation of $10-20, but station manager Walter Petrichyn says no one will be turned away if they cannot pay.

The event will wrap the station’s annual pledge drive, which raises funds in support of its daily operations. CJAM began FM broadcast 40 years ago, on Nov. 14, 1983.
