The University of Windsor’s Fall Open House, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, is an opportunity to show future students how they can thrive at UWindsor and step into the spotlight of their future.
“Designed for prospective students, applicants, and their families to learn more about programs and campus life, our open house event will focus on undergraduate domestic, international, and transfer students with programming across campus, including downtown,” says Chris Busch, associate vice-president of enrolment management.
The event will start at the Toldo Lancer Centre at 9 a.m. and feature programming across campus until 4 p.m. The centre will host check-in and the Academic and Student Success Information Fair, with shuttle bus service to main campus and the downtown campus.
“Together with faculties and student service areas, we will showcase why the University of Windsor is an exceptional choice for academic opportunities, campus life, and student support,” says Dr. Busch.
The event will include faculty and program information sessions, a student club hub, and campus tours, says Beth Natale, director of student recruitment.
“We are incredibly thankful for our campus partners who are working to showcase all UWindsor has to offer. This event cannot happen without the collective efforts of faculty, staff, and our outstanding students,” she says.
“Inviting prospective students to campus is critical to highlight our institution’s unique academic offerings and value propositions, including undergraduate research opportunities, engagement inside and outside the classroom, and a vibrant and diverse campus community.”
Natale says her department is looking forward to an exciting Fall Open House.
“There is no better time to come together as a campus community and show to our future students how we can help them thrive at UWindsor,” she says.
