Local poets will read from their works during an event Saturday that will launch Ryan Fitzpatrick’s collection Sunny Ways.

Fitzpatrick is the author of four books of poetry and more than a dozen chapbooks. He is currently the publisher of Model Press, an online-only poetry micropress. In Sunny Ways, Fitzpatrick channels his experiences growing up in the big-sky economic pragmatism of Calgary, where oil pays

Joining him Saturday are MA students Rawand Mustafa, Chloe Burrows-Moore, and Anna Karch; creative writing grad Jade Wallace (MA 2022); and artist-writer-designer-curator Mark Laliberte.

The event will open at 7 p.m. March 4 at Chapter Two Brewing Co., 2345 Edna St.
