The addition of Vincent Yeung as associate vice-president of finance will help the department build on its reputation for outstanding customer service and professionalism, says Gillian Heisz, vice-president of finance and operations.

Yeung started in his role Oct. 11, joining the UWindsor team from Western University, where he served as director of finance.

He is a chartered accountant, a chartered public accountant, and earned a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo. Prior to his tenure at Western, he led strategic initiatives and business development at Fanshawe College.

“Vincent has demonstrated strong leadership in our sector, particularly in areas including multi-year budgeting, advancement, endowments, and financial reporting,” Heisz says. “I know he will be an asset — pardon the accounting pun — to our amazing finance team and the University as a whole.”
