UWindsor instructors must set up an account in the YuJa Video Enterprise system by April 15 to create their own space for storing videos recorded in Blackboard Collaborate up to Dec. 31, 2021.

The Blackboard Collaborate virtual classroom tool has been heavily used since the COVID-19 pandemic began, placing an extraordinary strain on resources.

To maintain the past semesters’ recordings, they will be transitioned to the YuJa Video Enterprise system by April 29 and deleted from Blackboard Collaborate. There will be no impact on recordings from the current W2022 semester or on virtual class recordings done in MS Stream.

Instructors will need to either:

• initiate and synchronize their YuJa account by April 15 for the recordings to be transitioned into their own YuJa space, or
• request the LMS Team administrators to initiate the account on their behalf or delete existing recordings.

Otherwise, recordings will be held in a separate administrative area and will be available upon request.
