A new student-led project of the Student Counselling Centre promises an online platform for video submissions promoting mental health.
The UWindsor Wellness Livestream aims to spread positivity and support, says co-ordinator Natalie May, a student in the behaviour, cognition, and neuroscience program.
“We hope to highlight the diverse points of view of our university and create a space where everyone feels empowered and supported,” she says. “Join us as we use creative outlets to reduce stress and view wellness in a new light.”
The platform features a collection of tutorials, giveaways, and engagement events to foster a healthier and happier UWindsor community, and invites submission of videos from the campus community.
“We will share collaborations between other university groups and showcase the numerous support programs that the university has to offer all in one place,” says May.
