Online show displays UWindsor pride

Hosted by second-year business student Linden Crain, “The Windsor Wednesday Show” features a roundtable interview with University of Windsor students, staff, faculty, and alumni, live on the Office of Student Experience Facebook page every Wednesday at noon.

The show gives viewers a chance to hear first-hand why people are proud to be a part of the UWindsor community.

“I saw an opportunity to capitalize on the already established Windsor Wednesday initiative and thought this would be a great way to virtually connect with our UWindsor community during these difficult times,” says Crain.

Windsor Wednesdays, a project of the Office of Student Experience, encourages students, staff, faculty, and alumni to display their UWindsor pride weekly by wearing their Lancer gear. Continuing to build on this initiative The Windsor Wednesday Show is already making waves online with the second episode reaching over 3,000 views.

“It’s always great to see students like Linden taking this type of initiative, adding to what our office has been trying to bring to campus over the past two years,” says Sarah Racinsky, communications assistant with the Office of Student Experience. “We are excited to see more students, staff, faculty, and alumni featured on the show, sharing their stories.”

The show’s fourth episode will air Wednesday, May 6, at 12 p.m. EDT; viewers can tune in live on the Student Experience Facebook page.
