Head coach Deanna Iwanicka says she is “thrilled” with the players she has recruited to the Lancer women’s hockey team.
“We are bringing in U18 Provincial level players, and those who are regarded as top players in their leagues,” Iwanicka says. “Our focus is now shifting from culture to skill, as we build a championship program.”
Joining the Lancers on the ice next season are goaltender Holly Borrett of the Esso Cup champion St. Albert Slash, defenders Lizzie Coleman of the Winnipeg Ice and Devynn Dion of the Greater Vancouver Comets, and forwards Gabriella Goodall of the Ontario Hockey Academy, Jaden Cherry of the Fraser Valley Rush, and Abbey Campbell of the Toronto Leaside Wildcats.
