Instructors in the UWindsor music program are among the featured soloists in this weekend’s Intimate Classics concerts by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
Flutist Liesel Deppe and bassoonist Sam Fraser both teach in the School of Creative Arts. They, along with oboist Graham Mackenzie, will bring audiences back to the 17th and 18th centuries to explore the music of Baroque giants Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann, and Purcell. Performances are set for Friday, Feb. 14, in Chatham, and Sunday, Feb. 16, in Assumption Hall’s Heritage Auditorium.
Sunday’s performance begins at 2:30 p.m., with a pre-concert talk at 1:30 p.m. Find more information and online ticket purchase on the event website.
