Advance tickets are now on sale for the Great Faculty Soup-off, a fundraiser for the campus campaign for United Way, Tuesday, Nov. 26, in the CAW Student Centre Commons.
Staff, faculty, and students who buy admission for just $8 will sample eight soups and vote for their favourite — each sponsored by a faculty:
- Education – Sweet Potato
- Human Kinetics – Boston Clam Chowder
- Law – Leek and Potato
- Engineering – Broccoli and Cheddar
- Science – Tomato Tortellini
- Nursing – Chicken Noodle
- Business – Lentil Veggie
- Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences – Beef Barley
The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and organizers will admit only the first 400 patrons.

The proceeds will support the United Way. The charity keeps all contributions in Windsor-Essex to further its goal of making local poverty unignorable.
