Today — Thursday, May 2 — is the deadline to RSVP for a luncheon “celebrating the women who inspire us,” Wednesday at the Fogolar Furlan Club.

The Women United event brings together supporters of the United Way to demonstrate the power of working together to advocate for social change. Keynote speaker Traci Corey is director of the Women’s Leadership Institute at Olivet College.

A contingent will represent the University of Windsor, says Sheri Lowrie, chair of the charity’s campus campaign.

“There is still room for anyone who would like to join us,” she says. “We welcome any faculty or staff who wish to attend!”
