Everyone is a winner at the Pizza with the Prez reception, Wednesday in Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall — but some will win more than others.

All students will enjoy free pizza and meeting UWindsor interim president Douglas Kneale, starting at 5 p.m.

The occasion will also see the announcement of the winner of the Why Humanities? competition sponsored by the Humanities Research Group to point up the relevance of cultural disciplines. The grand prize is a $3,500 tuition credit.

The March 27 pizza party is part of Humanities Week, a series of events to celebrate the examination of human experience. Next up is the “War on Film” panel discussion, 6 p.m. Thursday at Rock Bottom Bar and Grill.
