Professor Philip Adamson will perform three piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven in a recital Friday to benefit music student scholarships.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. March 8 in the Performance Hall, SoCA Armouries, 37 University Ave. E.

On the program are Beethoven’s Sonata in D Major, Op.10, No.3; Sonata D Minor, Op.31, No.2; and Sonata in D Major, Op.28. Find more information on the concert website.

Tickets are $20, with a student rate of $5, available only at the door. All proceeds will go to the music scholarship fund.
