Nothing is uglier than litter, so there is no quicker way to beautify any landscape than removing the litter. A group of students and other volunteers will be doing just that in the riverfront Sculpture Park on Friday, October 26.
A partnership of the University’s environmental sustainability office and the World Wildlife Fund Canada, the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup will improve animal habitat and create awareness about the impacts of trash.
It will begin at 1 p.m. near the foot of California Avenue and proceed rain or shine. Students, staff, faculty, and members of the community are welcome to join. Register on the event website.
