A team record six field goals by Clark Green led Lancer football to a come-from-behind 26-24 victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues, Saturday at the south campus stadium.
Green went six-for-six — including the decider with less than a half a minute to play — to secure the first win this season for the Lancers in front of an Alumni Weekend crowd celebrating the 50th anniversary of the program.
Toronto had built an early 21-0 lead but Windsor’s defense held the Blues to just one additional field goal. Kaeden Walls scored the only touchdown for the blue and gold on a 30-yard pass from Sam Girard.
