Rodica Leu, a stockroom technician in the Department of Biological Sciences, won Monday’s DailyNews trivia quiz and its prize of two tickets to the University Players production of Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play, continuing through September 30 in the Essex Hall Theatre.
Leu’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly identified Kelsey Grammer as the voice of Sideshow Bob, Robert Mitchum as Max Cady in the 1962 thriller Cape Fear, and the novel The Executioners as the source for that film.
The University Players’ show explores how today’s pop culture can evolve into the myths of tomorrow, drawing on stories first told on the Simpsons animated television series.
