Mitch Fields, who has been serving in the role of acting dean of the Odette School of Business since 2016, will take up an appointment as dean, provost Douglas Kneale announced Tuesday.

“Recognized as an award-winning university teacher and a collegial team builder, Mitch has as acting dean positioned Odette for further progress in faculty renewal, program development, and maintenance of AACSB accreditation,” Dr Kneale said.

He listed Dr. Fields’ record of progressive and successful administrative experience at the University of Windsor as including his founding leadership of the Centre for Executive and Professional Education and his revisioning of Co-op, Careers, and Employment Services.
