A free public lecture Wednesday, February 6, will consider the deepening entanglements of regimes of war and policing and aid in Palestine.
Lisa Bhungalia, an assistant professor of political science at Kent State University, will deliver “The Role of Law: Policing Fragments of Empire” at noon in the Faculty of Law Building’s Farmer Conference Room.
Dr. Bhungalia’s research explores the relationship between national securitization, liberal warfare, and transnational linkages and encounters between the U.S. and North Africa/Middle East region. Her lecture is sponsored by the Transnational Law and Justice Network as part of its Borders, Boundaries and Intersections Speakers’ Series.
