Faculty of Science to host high school Science Olympiad

Thirty-two teams from high schools across Windsor-Essex will be on the UWindsor campus Friday, October 13, for the Science Olympiad. The Faculty of Science will host almost 200 grade 12 and 11 students for the full-day science competition.

In addition to testing the students’ science skills and knowledge, the activities will encourage team-building and problem-solving. The specific details of each challenge are top secret until the students arrive.

Members of the first-place and second-place teams receive scholarships worth $1,000 and $500, respectively, to study science at UWindsor.
