Canterbury College treated its residents to a traditional Shrove Tuesday breakfast, serving pancakes and waffles smothered in maple syrup.
Whether it’s pancakes or paczki, many Christians indulge on Mardi Gras, the last day before the start of the Lenten fast leading up to Easter. Canterbury College, the Anglican institution affiliated with the University of Windsor, has among its residents many international students new to the practice.
