Nutritionist and chef AnnaMaria Lopez will demonstrate how to prepare some student-friendly pasta dishes during a farmers’ market Thursday, February 16, in the CAW Student Centre.
On the menu? Chef AnnaMaria along with lucky student volunteers will be cooking penne with tomato-basil sauce and a spiralized zucchini pesto pasta. The live cooking demonstration will start at 11:30 a.m. with free samples available as the dishes are completed.
The market will offer foods and handmade crafts from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Commons area. Find more information, including a list of participating vendors, on the Facebook event page.
