Student scholarships will benefit from an auction March 7; organizers are currently seeking items to put on the block.
Organizers of an auction in support a scholarship fund for students in the Liberal Arts and Professional Studies program are seeking donations that will draw bidders to the event, March 7 at the Capitol Theatre.
“We are looking for items that are unique and that would interest buyers,” says Tim Brunet, instructor of the course Ways of Doing Auctions. “This is a good chance to promote your business or services among University of Windsor students.”
The program has more than 350 students and last year’s auction featured fun lots that included a coffee meeting with UWindsor president Alan Wildeman, event tickets, gift baskets, and a secret treasure chest.
