UWindsor president Alan Wildeman has issued a letter encouraging full-time undergraduate students to vote in the referendum for a fee for the construction of new athletics facilities.

The University of Windsor Students’ Alliance is holding the vote Wednesday and Thursday, February 1 and 2, with balloting online at www.uwsa.ca.

“I want to encourage all of you to get out and vote. How you vote is your decision,” Dr. Wildeman wrote.

The proposed Lancer Sports and Recreation Centre will allow the university to address many of the current shortcomings in the St. Denis Centre, Wildeman said last week in his address to the campus.
