Appreciation goes both ways, and patrons of the Leddy Library were quick to express their pleasure with the care its staff extends during final exams.
The library kicked off its semi-annual Student Appreciation Days on Tuesday, distributing free coffee and cookies to its stressed clientele.
“When I saw it, I just thought ‘yes!’” said second-year business major Naim Ismail, who grabbed a chocolate chip cookie on his way into the study hall.
The freebies are funded by the library’s used book sale and will be offered the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning while supplies last. Besides the pick-me-up of caffeine and sugar, the lobby displays tips for lowering anxiety during end-of-term pressures.
