Pianist Gregory Butler and organist David Palmer team up for “Simple Gifts of Christmas,” a concert with a seasonal flavour at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 13, in Assumption Hall.
Opening with standards from their CD for piano and organ, Double Exposure, they will move through new works into arrangements of Christmas music, culminating in a carol sing-along for the audience led by Paul Wharram, president of the Windsor-Essex Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists.
The fine instruments in Assumption Hall’s Heritage Room, resounding in its incomparable acoustics, combine for a feast of music by this well-known duo of UWindsor music instructors. View complete program and profiles here.
