A showcase of student research is the opening event in Humanities Week, a celebration of cultural studies, today in the Leddy Library.
The Student Research Fair runs 1 to 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Tomorrow marks the first of four daily Humanities Cafés, sponsored by Humanities Research Group student ambassadors and the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance. They continue through Friday at 1 p.m. each day in the Leddy Library.
A free public lecture Tuesday, September 22, will consider the importance of the humanities disciplines. Nancy Kindelan, a professor in the theatre department of Northeastern University and author of the 2012 book Artistic Literacy, will present “Why Humanities Matter” at 5 p.m. in the Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall.
