The Campus Bookstore has selected A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler as its book of the week. Regularly priced at $32, it is on sale through Friday for $20.06.

Tyler's 20th novel, the book follows four generations of Whitshanks in a poignant yet unsentimental story in praise of family in all its emotional complexity.

“A Spool of Blue Thread has been receiving rave reviews from critics and readers since its release in February 2015,” says Campus Bookstore marketing coordinator Martin Deck.

Tyler is probably best known for her Pulitzer Prize winning novel Breathing Lessons and for The Accidental Tourist, which was made into a 1988 movie starring William Hurt, Kathleen Turner and Geena Davis.
