Campus offices can get a head start on planning for the orientation program Head Start, which will welcome incoming students in late spring.
The program, run by the Student Success Centre, encourages incoming students to meet other new and current students while they learn about the campus community, their academic programs, student services, and more.
In 2014, more than 1,500 new students and their family members attended. Mark your calendars for this year’s dates:
- May 21, 22, 25—programs in human kinetics and the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
- May 28, 29, and June 1— Inter-faculty programs as well as those in business, engineering, nursing and science
The centre will post updates and details on Head Start 2015 on its website as they become available during the winter semester.
