An event today in the CAW Student Centre will offer a taste of Pakistani culture, says the president of the Pakistani Students’ Association.
The Winter Bazaar will feature music, displays, a photo booth, games and a henna artist, says Ilsa Naumani. It will run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Commons area.
“This is a great way to start off the semester in a very colourful manner and best of all it is a free event open to all,” she says.
The Marketplace food court will change up its menu for the occasion, serving a thali platter loaded with curried lentils, aloo gobi, raita, basmati rice, chana masala and naan with diner’s choice of beef curry, chicken biryani or paneer; samosas with tamarind sauce and choice of side dish; and kheer, a spiced rice pudding, for dessert.
