The International Student Centre invites the campus community to watch the semi-final matches of the World Cup live on the big-screen television in its lounge.
“We are looking forward to some exciting sport,” says international student advisor Enrique Chacon. He had been cheering on his native Colombia, which fell to host Brazil in the quarter-finals Friday.
Brazil will face Germany on Tuesday for a spot in the championship game. In Wednesday’s semi-final, Argentina will take on Netherlands. Both games begin at 4 p.m.
Stop by the centre, located on the second floor of Laurier Hall, to share the thrill of the quadrennial event.
